Welcome to Fiona Worcester's Online Masters of Arts in Teaching Portfolio!
This portfolio serves as evidence that I have met the program goals and outcomes required to obtain University of Alaska Southeast's Masters of Arts in Teaching, Secondary degree. The UAS School of Education sets forth 9 goals, each made up of three or four "performances". The goals mirror the 8 Standards for Alaska's Teachers set forth by Alaska's Department of Education and Early Development, with the 9th goal, a technology component, added by UAS. For each goal, I have created a tabbed page containing the coursework, projects, and evaluations I have produced over the course of the year toward that particular goal. The title for each post begins with its applicable performance standard (e.g. 1.a., 3.c., etc). To view a particular post individually, click on the appropriate title from the "Categories" sidebar on the right-hand side of the page. I have also created 5 additional pages, entitled Unit Plans, Teacher Work Sample, Evaluations, Recommendations, and Resume. Many of the Goals posts are linked into these additional pages.
