Toward the end of the school year, I met with my mentor teachers (Ardy Robertson and Tricia Johnson) and my MAT advisor (Dr. David Marvel) for my final intern evaluation.

We used the same intern evaluation form as in the fall. The intern evaluation form assesses my competency in the 9 goals set out by the UAS MAT Secondary Program and the performances fitting under each. In preparation, I took the writeup I had created in the fall, and added additional concrete examples of how I met the goals/performances in my teaching (a dotted line separates the semesters). Intern Evaluation (Spring 2011)

In the fall, my mentor teachers had concluded that I either met or exceeded the standard in all of the 9 goals. Happily, they rated me as progressing further in 4 of the 9 goals, and as exceeding the standard in all 9 goals!
